Legendary Release Events Are Roster Checks
Legendary Release Events are some of the most demanding events in Tacticus. The goal is simple: earn enough points to unlock the featured Legendary character.
The challenge is that you are not clearing one normal campaign path. LREs are split across multiple tracks, each with its own battles, restrictions, and scoring requirements.
Progress carries over between appearances, so every clear matters even if you will not unlock the character in a single event.
Requirements Drive the Strategy
Most LRE planning comes down to matching the right characters to the right requirements. A good team is not always your five strongest characters.
Common requirements include things like:
- Faction restrictions
- Damage types
- Traits and keywords
- Rarity limits
- Survival or no-summon conditions
The best teams often cover multiple requirements at once while still having enough damage, healing, summons, or durability to survive deeper stages.
Plan Around the Roster You Actually Have
It is easy to look at an ideal LRE team and feel like you are missing half the pieces. That is normal.
Instead of chasing every perfect lineup, focus on characters that solve multiple problems: durable tanks, reliable healers, reusable damage dealers, summoners, and supports that show up across more than one event.
A flexible roster will carry you farther than one narrow team built for a single requirement.
