One of the biggest challenges for new players is deciding where to spend limited resources. Tacticus offers many game modes, events, and characters, but not all investments provide the same long-term value.

The goal of this guide is to help new players prioritize their efforts and avoid common progression traps.

Campaigns Come First

For most new accounts, Campaign progression should be the highest priority.

Campaigns unlock:

• Additional characters
• Upgrade materials
• Better farming locations
• Elite Campaigns

When deciding where to spend resources, ask a simple question:

Will this help me progress further in a Campaign?

If the answer is yes, it is usually a good investment.

Focus Your Resources

A common beginner mistake is trying to upgrade every character.

Instead:

• Prioritize Campaign-required characters.
• Build a small core roster for Guild Raid
• Expand only when new content requires it.

A few strong characters will carry an account much farther than a large collection of underdeveloped ones.

Understanding Game Modes

• Helping you unlock or strengthen characters.
• Providing resources that support Campaign progression.
