Basics

Campaigns are the backbone of Tacticus progression. They unlock new characters, open additional game modes, and provide a steady source of upgrade materials you'll need throughout the game. Whether you're tackling your first Normal campaign or pushing into Elite, every stage cleared moves your account forward.

Campaign progress is top priority.

New players should focus on stage progression, unit investment, and unlocking characters for Campaign more than any other Game Mode.

There is no single "correct" team.

These guides are based on successful community clears and are designed to minimize your investment, but many different teams can complete the same stages.

Keep in mind

Required characters are mandatory, but your supporting heroes often have the biggest impact on difficult stages.
Equipment and abilities matter. A well-equipped character can outperform a higher-ranked one with neglected gear.
Every campaign guide includes recommended teams, equipment priorities, enemy overviews, and advice for the most challenging stages.
Don't panic if you're stuck. Sometimes a single promotion, equipment upgrade, or ability level is all that's needed to clear a difficult stage.
Farm as you progress. Campaigns are one of the best long-term sources of upgrade materials, so don't hesitate to replay stages when your roster needs a boost.

These guides are intended to help you invest wisely, avoid common progression traps, and reach Elite Campaigns with the smallest roster investment possible.
